“Galina“ is a film about a trip. The first image is the view through the windows of the cable car. A woman pushes a button and a strange trip begins. The last stop is a living block, in front of which is a big white car. Then comes the text: How to heal with the help of music. The topic of health improvement by nonmedical means is one of the themes of my interest.

“Galina“ plays in Tchiatura, a small city in Georgia which is spread over a valley and mountains. People living there reach their working places and homes by using cable cars, going from the mountains down to the valley and from there up again to another part of the city. There are still 20 different cable cars working in Tchiatura. The strange views of the video, showing one trip up to a living block, are accompanied by a text on how to heal with the help of classical music.
